From Dead Drunk to Fighting Muay Thai
As mentioned last week I’m planning a new book which will be due for release in 2012. This is going to document what happens when a middle aged ex-drunk decides that he wants to fight Muay Thai. I’m expecting this to be the hardest challenge I’ve ever faced; it is going to test me both physically and mentally. You can follow my progress on my other website middle aged Muay Thai. You can also read more about my plans by visiting the Maverick House website and reading my post ‘from coward to Muay Thai fighter’.
Dead Drunk was released in eBook format a couple of weeks ago. The first couple of chapters are now available to read online for free if you visit here. If anyone who has read the book would like to leave a review on Amazon I’d be most appreciative. Of course the paperback version is still available as well.
sort of meditation with bruises
best a luck
Hi Tom, you describe it really well; as long as it is only meditation with bruises and not broken bones.
Paul, you are an inspiration to me. After our many discussions on the subject of getting healthier, just this morning I decided to take Tai Chi lessons. I did think about Thai boxing but I’m not in the same category. So CONGRATS on your new ventures and thanks for the inspiration 🙂
It looks like you’ve done more with your muay Thai site, since the last time I visited. Keep up the good work! Soo, soo!
Thanks Lani, it is more work keeping up two sites but it makes sense.
Paul, I plan on following your progress eagerly…I need to get in shape but I want the workout and not the to be a punching bag.
Thanks Talen, I plan to provide regular updates from here on in.
Good luck, stay focused and have a nice time in the wonderful Thailand.
Greetings from Germany
Thanks Reiner, you are right about the importance of focus.
Paul,
Really enjoying the podcasts. You’re an inspiration. Please keep ’em coming!

Thanks Jeremy, I appreciate it.
