Four Years Sober Today
It was four years ago today that I entered the gates of Thamkrabok Detox Temple and gave up alcohol forever. My life has been so full of joy over these last few years; more than I ever thought I deserved. When I quit alcohol it was just to make the pain stop; I’ve been given so much more. Life in recovery is an amazing adventure and hope that all addicts can find this out for themselves; all it takes is the willingness to change.

Congratulations – I just wish I had the courage to give up alcohol completly. I can stop for a couple of weeks but peer pressure ends up getting the better of me !
