Dead Drunk is Now Available as an eBook on Kindle and Some Other News

Dead Drunk in Shops

Dead Drunk is now available to download on Kindle. In a recent post I discussed my satisisfaction at finding out that the book was going to be released in this format (read here). I hope this means that my story reaches an even wider audience.

In other news I’ve also signed a contract to write another book. This project is still in its early stages so I don’t want say too much about it. It will be a tough assignment as it involves facing some of my biggest fears. I’ll share more about this in the future.

  1. I keep thinking if I should get a Kindle or not, but when I see the hundreds of books that I haven’t read yet on my bookshelves in Bangkok I try to convince myself that it’s not the right time to buy one (yet!). Still, it’s important for authors to offer their books on all possible platforms.

Congrats on signing the contract for your new book. I have faith that it will be as good as “Dead Drunk”(if not even better). I suppose it’s non-fiction, once again. I’m looking forward to reading more about your new project.

    1. The thing I like most about eBooks is that it means that I’ve always got a lot of choice. I dread going somewhere and running out of reading material, but that is unlikely to happen with an eBook reader.

  2. Excellent!
As soon as I get to a wifi zone when I am in Ubon tomorrow I will be downloading it. A very good price as well. Thanks for the info and keep up the great work on an excellent blog.

  3. Paul I read the sneak preview of your book and can’t remember if I commented or not 🙁 I can only blame lack of sleep and laziness.

I do have a serious question though. Apart from actually writing the book, what advice would you give to someone about the process of the Ebook publishing?

    1. Hi Snap, I’m not sure that I can offer any useful advice about eBook publishing. The publisher of the paperback edition of Dead Drunk also released the eBook so I wasn’t really involved in the process – except for signing the contract 🙂 There are quite a few people at the moment who are self publishing eBooks; some seem to be doing quite well out of it.

  4. Hi there Paul. I suppose I’m a few months late into the game on this, but I just read about your book in Bangkok trader, and thought I’d let you know it’s my most recent purchase on Amazon. Looking forward to reading it over the next few days, and I’ll share my thoughts (if you’d like) when I’ve finished.
